Merry Christmas and a BLESSED New Year
And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. -- Luke 2:10-14
“For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

The Vision of CMFE
CMFE’s mission is to spread the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to the tribal and poor people of the Philippines. With the power of the Holy Spirit, the authority of Holy Scripture, we are committed to show God’s love. A Message from the Heart of Manila
Dear Friends and Supporters,
My name is Ramon Karl Sanchez, and I have the profound privilege of serving as the current pastor of the Manila Calvary Church. For over 76 years, our church has been a steadfast light in the heart of the community, and we are also honored to serve as the headquarters for the Christian Mission in the Far East.
Nestled in the vibrant Malate neighborhood of Manila, our mission is focused on the local population, particularly those who have been experiencing homelessness for many years. For three years now, I have walked alongside this humble congregation, witnessing their deep spiritual hunger
Growth, Faith, and Fellowship
It is a true joy to share the Gospel with these precious souls, teaching them that the Lord loves them immeasurably—far more than the sparrows of the field—and that God has beautiful plans and a purpose for every one of their lives.
We believe that spiritual nourishment and physical nourishment go hand-in-hand. Following the inspiring example of the early Church in Corinth, we provide meals for our members every Sunday after service and following our prayer meetings.
We have been blessed to see God's word truly take hold: attendance has beautifully blossomed, growing from just 37 attendees in 2023 to 88 members and attendees in 2025. We originally had 65 chairs in our sanctuary, but we are happily bringing out extra seating to accommodate the influx! When I encouraged our members to spread the gospel, they took the command literally, bringing their relatives and neighbors to hear the Word of the Lord.
Facing Challenges Together
Lately, the Philippines has faced a relentless series of natural disasters. A recent typhoon has just moved through Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao. While the winds were manageable, the excessive rains caused deep and fast-moving floods across the Visayas and Mindanao.
Our mission churches in Mindanao were particularly impacted, including a 7.5 magnitude earthquake in Davao and severe typhoon flooding that affected the Maasim district in South Cotabato. The Filipino people and our mission are incredibly resilient. Yet, in times like these, the Lord's divine providence, often working through the generosity of faithful partners like you, is vital. We are so grateful for your past support and for your continuing contribution to our mission work, which allows us to be a constant source of hope and aid during these difficult times.
Thank you for all your prayers and support. As we all celebrate the miracle of Christmas, we wish you many blessings and the joy of the season.
In Christ,
CMFE-USA
DONATION NEEDED
“For I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat. I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger, and you invited me in. I needed clothes and you clothed me. I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me…The King will reply, “I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’”
